PINEHILL New Flavoured Milks

August 11, 2015

“The introduction of the CESS tax will allow the Dairy Industry in Barbados to flourish as Pine Hill Dairy’s milk intake from the 17 farmers will increase. Overall, the pricing of certain dairy products from PINEHILL will be cheaper to the consumer and will be reflected in not only our new offerings to the market but on our current ones as well.”

This from PINEHILL’s Category Manager Henry Yearwood who made these remarks while delivering flavoured milk from the Dairy’s new line Indulgence to members of the media and other stakeholders.

Described as a product innovation, Indulgence Flavoured Milks come in four flavours Irish Cream, Dulce de Leche, French Vanilla and Cappuccino. In addition, the convenient 330ml Tetra Pak size is the first of its kind for PINEHILL packaging.

“The flavoured milk category of dairy is the fastest growing segment worldwide with new flavours in new packages being made available to satisfy convenience and choice of consumers,” Mr. Yearwood continued.

“PINEHILL now has single serve 250 milliliter flavoured milk for children, single serve 330 milliliter Indulgence flavoured milk for the adult on the go and 1 Litre take home flavoured milks for the family. I am sure that Barbadians will enjoy this new line.”

Going into detail on the taste of each of the offerings he shared that Indulgence has flavours that everyone can enjoy.

“Irish Cream will remind you of Bailey’s without the alcohol while French Vanilla is a richer more robust vanilla than PINEHILL’s Vanilla Flavoured milk. The Dulce de Leche flavour is a very common ice-cream flavour and finally, the Cappuccino has a beautiful coffee taste for those coffee lovers.”
